Shipping and Delivery Policy

Last updated 26 August 2026. We deliver throughout South Africa by courier. This policy explains what that costs, how long it takes, and what happens when something goes wrong.

Where we deliver

We deliver anywhere in South Africa that a courier will reach. We do not deliver to a post box, because the courier needs a person to sign. We do not currently ship outside South Africa.

What it costs

Delivery is charged at checkout, calculated on the destination and the size and weight of the order. Audio visual gear is often bulky rather than heavy, so a large light item such as a panel or a screen can cost more to move than a small heavy one.

The amount shown at checkout is the amount you pay. We do not add a fee afterwards.

How long it takes

Delivery time is order processing plus transit. Processing is normally one working day for stocked items, longer where an item is coming from a supplier, and the product page tells you which applies before you buy.

Once collected by the courier, typical transit is two to three working days to the main centres and three to five working days to outlying areas. These are estimates, not guarantees.

Couriers collect and deliver on working days. An order placed on a Friday afternoon starts moving on Monday.

Tracking your order

You get an email when the order is confirmed, and another when it is dispatched with a tracking reference. If a tracking number has not arrived when you expected it, email us rather than assuming the worst.

Delivery day

Somebody needs to be there to receive and sign for the goods. Give us a delivery address where that is true during working hours, which for most people is a business address rather than a home.

Check the packaging before you sign. If a box is visibly damaged, note it on the courier waybill and photograph it, then tell us the same day.

Large and installed equipment

Some of what we sell is heavy, fragile, or both. Video walls, large format panels and rack equipment may ship on a pallet and may need help or a loading bay at your end.

Where that applies we will say so on the product page and confirm the arrangements with you before dispatch. Delivery is to the door or the loading bay. It does not include carrying equipment up stairs, unpacking, mounting or installation.

When delivery goes wrong

Couriers are usually reliable and occasionally are not. Load shedding, weather, strike action and rural routing all cause delays we cannot prevent.

If your order is late, email us with the order number and we will trace it. If it turns out to be lost, we replace it or refund you. The courier claim is ours to pursue, not yours.

If a delivery fails because nobody was there or the address was wrong, the courier will usually reattempt. A second failed attempt may mean a redelivery charge.

Returns

Sending something back is covered in our Returns and Refunds Policy. Email us before returning anything.
